Toronto Painters and other IUPAT Union Members Will Soon Have a Designated Health and Dental Centre

It’s essential for every person and his or her family to have the health and dental care needed to stay healthy for a lifetime. Now, those who are members of the IUPAT’s Toronto painters’ union will have an even more convenient location to get their care. With the move of the headquarters to the new location at 132 Toro Road, IUPAT will be able to offer a Health and Dental Centre at our old location, 130 Toro Road.

The new Health and Dental Centre, scheduled to open sometime during the fall of 2015, will house not only dentists and related professionals, but will also be home to a pharmacy, eye care facility and more. This “one stop shopping” means easier accessibility for IUPAT members and their families.

The benefits of getting regular dental and physical check-ups is tremendously important for all individuals. In terms of tradespersons, remaining healthy has particular advantages:

• Expect to take fewer days off each year since they will be getting better healthcare and access to health services.
• Be able to better deal with the everyday stressors of their jobs. Comprehensive wellness is a route to success on the job!
• Not have to worry about finding a primary dental provider. IUPAT will only work with the best of the best.
• Can be assured that those they love will also be able to visit the Health and Dental Centre for their needs.
