Finishing Trades Institute of Ontario (FTI Ontario)
In partnership, the Finishing Trades Institute of Ontario (FTI Ontario) and IUPAT deliver industry-leading training for commercial painters & decorators, industrial painters and glaziers. Through hands-on instruction, these programs set up workers with the technical skills, safety knowledge, and expertise needed to excel in their careers.
FTI Ontario offers a variety of training opportunities, including:
Workers are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to maintain a safe work environment.
Commercial Painters and Decorators apply decorative and protective finishes in residential, commercial and institutional settings.
Industrial Painters prepare and apply corrosion protection coatings for steel structures, such as bridges, sport stadiums, and high-rise offices.
Glaziers cut, fit, and install glass for construction glass installation contractors, retail service and repair shops, and glass fabrication shops.
