The Interior Finishing Systems Training Centre (IFSTC), in partnership with IUPAT, provides specialized training programs for drywall finishers and hazardous materials workers across Ontario. These programs guarantee that all tradespeople receive the highest quality instructions to develop the skills necessary for success in the construction industry.

Comprehensive IFSTC training programs

The IFSTC offers hands-on training that prepares workers for real-world job site conditions. Programs include:

DRYWALL
FINISHING

Training in taping, mudding, and sanding techniques for a seamless finish. Participants learn proper application methods, tool handling, and surface preparation.

HAZARDOUS MATERIALS WORKERS

Specialized instruction on handling asbestos, lead, and mold remediation, ensuring compliance with Ontario’s health and safety regulations and proper workplace procedures.
