Welcome to our family

Welcome to IUPAT! We are so happy you’ve joined our family of 8,000+ Brothers and Sisters working across the province. As you embark on this new adventure with us, here are some things we think you should know…

We offer a New Member Orientation Program that will help you with things like:

  • our international structure and officers
  • our team of Business Representatives (who your point people will be)
  • membership services (what do we do, and how can we help you)
  • finances of IUPAT (where all our due money goes)
  • member benefits


Every month, we organize member meetings where you can learn what is happening in the union, and how you can get involved.

There are a couple of training centers we have affiliations with, that offer apprenticeships to get your work-place ready and certified. For your trade specific apprenticeship offerings, please visit: IFSTC or FTI.
