To All Members of the IUPAT DC46:
The members of the IUPAT working under the Glaziers Provincial Industrial, Commercial and Institutional (ICI) Collective Agreement voted 95% in favour of a strike yesterday.
As well, members of the IUPAT working under the main Provincial Collective Agreement voted 89% in favour of a strike yesterday.
The overwhelming support by the members for a strike mandate demonstrates they are prepared to take job action in order to secure a fair and reasonable deal that reflects their contributions in building Ontario, especially during the pandemic.
The Union will update its members once it is in a legal strike position, so please continue to monitor your email account and the Union’s social media platforms. In the interim, the Union remains open to negotiating agreements that our members deserve.
