Toronto Drywall Finishers are important members of the IUPAT family. The work that they do is foundational to creating beautiful finished homes, and restoring beautiful historical plaster work. We want to make sure that these valuable union members, alongside their brothers and sisters across the IUPAT have a way to keep their job sites safe and ethical, so earlier this year, we implemented a tip line.
What’s the tip line for?
Any IUPAT member, including our drywall finishers, can call the tip line to report any problems on jobsites. This can include non-union workers on job sites, workers that are working on weekends, and any collective agreement issues. It can also be used to report any issues with members being paid with straight cheques or any concerns about safety regulations not being met.
Who can call the tip line?
Any IUPAT member can call the tip line and know that their report will be collected anonymously and reviewed carefully by the union.
What information should I leave?
Please ensure that your private message has plenty of detail, including dates, times, locations, etc. This will help us to ensure that the report can be followed up on effectively.
