As a union taper, also known as a drywall finisher, you can contribute to the building of residential and commercial structures all over Ontario. A drywall finisher smooths the areas where drywall boards meet in order to prepare walls and other similar surfaces for painting and finishing applications. To get started in our tapers union, you simply must inquire about how to do so here on our website. Then, we’ll take you through the steps for obtaining your education and practical job experience beginning with an apprenticeship to becoming a full-fledged journey person professional. During this time of learning, you’ll receive wages and benefits – something that you won’t get while attending a 2- or 4-year educational institution.
