A Little Bit About IUPAT
IUPAT was chartered in 1887, first named The Brotherhood of Painters and Decorators of America. Since that time, this labour union has grown much stronger in both the US and Canada. Here in Ontario, IUPAT supports approximately 7,800 union workers with 15 locals across the province. The Locals hold monthly meetings to help make our Union stronger, talk about local and provincial issues, encourage continuing education through health & safety training courses and provide volunteerism opportunities to strengthen our communities. How to Join a the Painter’s Union
Whether you’re joining a local in the Toronto area or any other city in Ontario, we are here to support you.
