Labour Day in Canada was first established in 1894. It was created to celebrate the unions’ efforts to improve workers’ rights. Every year, different unions attend to show their solidarity.
We’re proud to continue the march this year! Come and join us on September 7, in Toronto on University Avenue (just north of Queen Street) for the Labour Day Parade! The Parade starts at 9:30 AM, and we will march in mass to the CNE grounds.
