To further its mission to support, educate, inform and protect members who hold union jobs, the Toronto based IUPAT has announced a new Union Health and Dental Centre. Located at 130 Toro Road in Toronto, adjacent to the IUPAT’s Union Hall, the Union Health and Dental Centre officially opens August 4, 2015 for D.C. 46 and other construction union workers and their families.
The Union Health and Dental Centre offers a one-stop shopping experience for many types of medical-related services:
- An onsite dental clinic will provide leading edge techniques to ensure long-term oral health for all patients. The state-of-the-art facility is staffed by professionals who are passionate about dentistry.
- A chiropractic clinic can care for people of all ages with everything from one-time concerns to chronic pain.
- A physiotherapy area will ensure that those requiring treatments related to the rehabilitation of an injury, surgical procedure or congenital issue can get world-class care in their hometown at an affordable rate.
- A massage therapy centre will enable those who need the assistance of a fully-licensed and trained masseuse or masseur to benefit from the deep tissue, Swedish and other massage techniques available at the centre.
Each centre is currently accepting new patients, and will work closely with the IUPAT benefit plan office to ensure seamless care.
After August 4, 2015, other centres will also begin to operate within the Union Health and Dental Centre on Toro Road, including a medical centre, optical centre, pharmacy and podiatrist.
