The International Union of Painters and Allied Trades Ontario Council is excited to announce a newly updated website with a fresh, clean look and new offerings for union members and those interested in joining the IUPAT. The updated look offers easier and more convenient navigation throughout the site, as well as a specially-designed area for members.
“We’ve been listening to our members and realized that it was time for an updated look to our website and we are really pleased with the outcome,” mentioned Joe Russo, Business Manager for IUPAT. “Now members and visitors alike can locate information much easier, view updated photos, subscribe to mobile texts and keep in touch with us online as well as on a variety of social media platforms we actively use.”
The member section features sections that highlight member benefits, news and information, training and apprenticeship links, a go-to-guide for new members and an up-to-date area that keeps the Union in touch with retirees.
Those interested in a career change or considering becoming a new union member should visit the relating sections on the website that feature information on each of the trades that the IUPAT represents.
Other exciting features include links to the IUPAT’s active social media profiles on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Google Plus as well as a link to their blog where they encourage interaction from all their members. Additionally, IUPAT Ontario Council offers Union members more convenience by providing a space where Union members can easily sign up for mobile alerts and pertinent messages on their smartphone.
If you haven’t visited the new IUPAT Ontario Council website, what are you waiting for? We’re anxious to hear your feedback.
