Toronto, Canada, December 2, 2014 – The International Union of Painters and Allied Trades is excited that the construction of their new facility, located at 132 Toro Road in Toronto, has been completed. In celebration, the IUPAT will be hosting an open house to showcase their new building on December 4, 2014 to invite members, contracting partners and others.
“We’re so excited to be able to offer this new state-of-the-art building for all of our union members and truly believe this will be a great place for them to meet others, participate in training sessions and also a convenient and comfortable place for locals to hold meetings,” states Joe Russo, Business Manager. “Additionally, we believe our staff will be pleased with their new, larger area and welcome the addition of the Benefits Plan Administrators to our new location.”
The new headquarters for DC46 offers convenient “one-stop-shopping” for Union members where they will be able to hold meetings and attend events in the Union Hall. Not only will our current administrators have new offices, but the new building will also house the Benefit Plan Administrators as well. Moreover, the newly built facility will also be able to house records and other important paperwork, all under one roof in the basement storage area.
