Attention: All IUPAT Members Working in Residential Sector Under the ISCA Collective Agreement (Schedule “B”)
In accordance with the Labour Relations Act, the Union and the Interior Systems Contractors Association submitted their outstanding disputes to interest arbitration on June 16, 2022.
Today, Arbitrator Jesse M. Nyman released his Decision. Arbitrator Nyman has directed the parties to enter into a renewal Collective Agreement. Some highlights of the proposals of the Association that have been imposed by Arbitrator Nyman are found below.
For all areas of the Province outside of the London and Ottawa areas, a number of specific increases have been imposed including a total monetary increase of 16% and divided as follows:
- May 1, 2022 – 4%
- May 1, 2023 – 5%
- May 1, 2024 – 7%
In the Ottawa area, a number of specific increases have been imposed including monetary increases for houses and townhouses with ceilings up to nine (9) feet as follows:
- May 1, 2022 – $295 per 1000 square feet
- May 1, 2023 – $310 per 1000 square feet
- May 1, 2024 – $325 per 1000 square feet
In the London area, a number of specific increases have been imposed including monetary increases for high rise / low rise ceilings up to and including eight (8) feet as follows:
- May 1, 2022 – $.05 per board ft
- May 1, 2023 – $.02 per board ft
- May 1, 2024 – $.02 per board ft
