IUPAT is launching a new COVID rapid testing initiative to serve members and make it easier for members to stay safe. This program is led by the Ministry of Health, with support from partner ministries including Public Health Ontario and Ontario Health. Tests are free for IUPAT members and their adult household family members. IUPAT and BPA employees, and contractors affiliated with DC 46 may voluntarily undergo COVID-19 screening and testing at the Union. Taking the test is important to keep yourself, co-workers and other people safe.
COVID-19 Test Booking Details:
- The first available date an IUPAT member or their adult household family member can book an appointment is Thursday, January 21, 2021 from 9 am to 5:30 pm.
- After the pilot date (January 21), testing will take place every Tuesday from 9 am to 5:30 pm (once a week). Testing will be available on-site at 132 Toro Rd. Toronto – IUPAT head office in Toronto.
- Your results will be ready in 15 minutes – it will be sent via email.
