Commercial Painters Are Helping to Modernize Toronto

Share Post

As you look around Toronto, you’ll probably notice that there are signs of modernization across the cityscape. Even older buildings are being revitalized thanks to the help of many workers, including commercial painters. In fact, commercial painters’ work is often the most noticeable upgrade that you can see.

Commercial painters are truly doing their part to add to the beauty of Toronto, a location that for many is second to none in terms of attractive appearance. By bringing their skills and talents to every job, commercial painters are constantly adding a new sheen to a mature city that beckons people looking for career opportunities, recreational fun, professional sports teams, cultural events, world-class restaurants and so much more!

Modernization in Action – Pan American Games

One location in Toronto where commercial painters did a wonderful – and very obvious – job was for the structures related to the July 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Games. These games involved much more than providing facilities related to the sports that were held; a complete infrastructure had to be developed in order to make sure the experience was smooth from beginning to end for athletes, media and attendees alike.

Part of the infrastructure development was eventually turned over to commercial painters. After construction was finished, these painters were able to add protective coats of color to structures old and newly completed. It was an important piece of the puzzle; the Pan Am/Parapan Games would be viewed around the world, and Toronto would be on center stage.

Thanks to workers like the commercial painters who were part of this proud moment, the Pan Am/Parapan Games were a hit! They were very well-received and showed how our Canadian tradespeople can have a transformative effect on the communities they serve.

What’s Next for Commercial Painters?

The good news for commercial painters in Toronto is that there is going to be tons of work in the future, if trends hold as expected. Canada is a country that continues to grow, and that growth means a continued need for buildings and structures throughout the provinces. For those already in the commercial painting profession, as well as those who are considering becoming commercial painters through an apprenticeship and then joining their trade union, the horizon looks promising.

In the end, their work will be on display for residents and tourists, and will bode well for Toronto as a progressive, thriving city.
